This location did not quite meet the expectations that other Coast Hotel locations have created for us. Room was quite small for a king size bed and very poorly layed out making the bed the only spot to view the TV from, without picking up the armchair and lifting it over the bed to place it on the other side of the room. When at the front desk checking in and getting the room was just asked what we wanted for a room. And when we responded that we wanted something with a king bed we not given any of the different options for level of king size rooms.
Restaurant’s room service was a hassle as it took 15 minutes just to get a hold of them to place the order. Once placed was told 15-20 minutes for order, 50 mins later food arrived. Was nothing complex in the order. Caesar salads had no dressing on the salad. 8fl oz(273ml) glass bottle of coke was $4.
Bed was very comfortable which is a Coast normality and one of the big reasons we choose Coast locations.
This is one of the Coast Hotel locations that does not offer the complimentary breakfast and the restaurant breakfast menu was pricey like the rest of it.

Great location when in town for Business
Walking distance to great sites with amenities close. Great location to get a feel for the city when in for a short stay on business. I will be staying here when I am back next year for business again.
Room was large and clean. Hotel is updated. Free parking. Close to lots of restaurants. We will stay there again. We had a small dog and that was no problem during the stay. The only negative thing I can say is the desk clerk was a unfriendly fellow. Not welcoming at all.
Bizarre Room, But Good Experience
The Coast Hotel in Lethbridge was once known as the “El Rancho Motel.” We decided to “relive” a little bit of Lethbridge history. The room where we stayed was likely in the location of the old “Outrider Saloon.” The current owners of the Coast Hotel have done a good job of change and renovation. Unfortunately, our room was a little bizarre. The window looks out into a hallway. Once you get accustomed to this oddity, you can appreciate the positive attributes of the hotel. To summarize, it’s very clean, modern, and the service of the front desk personnel was very good. I should also emphasize that we received very good value for our money. There are few locations in Lethbridge where customers will receive such good value. We can easily recommend the Coast Hotel in Lethbridge.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. Definitely stay again on our next trip to Lethbridge. We didn’t use the restaurant but like that one was available. We were only there a couple nights so didn’t use the any other amenities but overall our experience was great.
