Wedding at hotel
We stayed for one night for a wedding that we attended in the hotel.
we started off in room 181 that smelled like cigarettes and wet dog. The manager came and moved us to 253 which was a clean smelling renovated nice room.
The manager by far was more accommodating than any others I have encountered. The hotel has taken on some nice renovations. There is still the lounge and now Montanas as well. They upgraded the pool with a slide.
Great place to stay with family and friends. Staff was friendly and inviting. Free breakfast was amazing and the pool was a big hit with the kids. Hospitality staff was very helpful in getting us an extra cot for our daughter and extra swim towels
Bridal suite amazing - got married here
We got married here in 2014 and the bridal suite was big and beautiful and the people were friendly, accommodating and great service. Some bumps along the planning stage but overall great experience and great food! The only negative would be they didn’t shut the pool down when we got married in the courtyard so our friends and family couldn’t hear the vows very well as kids were playing and being quite loud.
Don’t be fooled by the updated facelift of this hotel
This hotel has always been my go to hotel in Edmonton. Close to the airport, pet friendly, and offer long term parking, and free breakfast.
However whoever designed the hotels new look should be shot. White granite or marble whatever it is does not belong in a hotel. The Noise is unbelievable. The reception desk echoes. You can hear every conversation and the phone.
Peoples suitcases rolling down the tile hallways at every hour is beyond infuriating.
I’m here on buisness and I’m lucky if I’ve had 2 hours of sleep.
I don’t know if the back rooms are quieter but the first floor is a bloody nightmare.
Please fire your designer or at least make them spend 1 night in room 106.
